Enjoying the italian sun together with machine quilting is one of the best things in life. This week we will learn everything about quilting freehand feathers. We will start easy as mentioned in Freehand feathers level 1, but we will quilt more and more difficult feathers as the week passes by. At the end of the week you will really have the feeling how to quilt these feathers. One day we will work especially on background patterns, to let your feathers stand out even more, this is an important part of feather quilting it will make your quilt even more beautiful. All this is ofcourse at the Umbrian hills of Italy so we need to taste a bit of the ambience of this country and see something of this beautiful part of Umbria. The nature is extraordinarily green and beautiful, but has a very rough appearance. We can make a good stroll over the hills and through the valleys, but we will also visit a tipical italian market in Città delle Pieve. Once we need to eat a real italian pizza at Ristorante il Peperoncino en we will attend at a italian season festival and eat the best cooked italian pasta prepared by the local population!
